Mr. Jacob McManamon is an Associate with Milberg working out of the Tampa, Florida area.
Mr. McManamon graduated from the University of Florida in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and a concentration in Business Administration. While at the University of Florida, Mr. McManamon was actively involved in student government, played competitively on intramural flag football teams, and was a sports writer for the Independent Florida Alligator and ESPN Gainesville WRUF.
He continued his education at Florida International University College of Law, receiving his Juris Doctor in 2022. While in law school, Mr. McManamon made the Dean’s List each year, served as the Vice President of the ACLU FIU Chapter from 2020-2022, and was a Teaching Assistant to Professor Lozada, counseling first-year law students on their legal writing. During his second year of law school, Mr. McManamon served as a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Adalberto Jordan on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
After graduating from law school, Mr. McManamon worked as an Associate Attorney at a large Florida-based Insurance Defense firm where he handled matters related to premises liability, negligent security, and medical malpractice.
Mr. McManamon joined Milberg as an Associate in the summer of 2023. He is motivated by seeing his clients, wronged or injured by an individual or entity, made whole through his legal work.
In his free time, Mr. McManamon enjoys cheering for the Tampa Bay sports teams and the Florida Gators, going to the beach, and spending time with his family and friends.
