Eric Steber is excited about working in Milberg’s class action field. He’s passionate about this practice area because it often operates at the intersection of legal and business considerations. Mr. Steber particularly enjoys adapting to an area of business and then using that understanding, coupled with his knowledge of the law, to protect the interests of those impacted by wrongdoing.

Mr. Steber began his legal career working as a lawyer for the Judicial Fellowship—a group within the Administrative Office of the Courts that provides research and writing support to North Carolina trial court judges. After two years with the Fellowship, he served as a law clerk to the Honorable Judge Julianna T. Earp of the North Carolina Business Court.

Mr. Steber became familiar with the work of Milberg’s Raleigh office through several cases on the Business Court’s docket. His supervisor at the Fellowship is a former classmate and friend of Jeremy Williams. He was introduced to Jeremy Williams and Karl Amelchenko after his supervisor learned that the Raleigh location was interested in hiring an Associate.

Mr. Steber is a current member of the Wake County and North Carolina Bar Associations. As a student, he participated in the Campbell Law Connections Mentorship Program and hopes to do so again as a practicing attorney.

Outside the office, he enjoys playing soccer and coaching the youth team he assists with. He and his wife like to explore downtown Raleigh and experience new restaurants in the area.
