Scott Bersin practices in the area of mass torts, specializing in prescription drug and medical device cases. Over the past decade, he has worked on the litigations concerning Avandia, Chantix, Zimmer NexGen Knee replacement devices and transvaginal mesh. He is currently working on Risperdal and Granuflo litigations.
Mr. Bersin received his undergraduate education at Binghamton University where he majored in Economics and played on the varsity baseball team, serving as captain during his senior year. After graduating from college, he entered Brooklyn Law School, earning his J.D. with Merit Scholar Honors after having been selected to lead the Moot Court Honor Society and participating on the Brooklyn Journal of International Law.
Prior to joining Milberg, Mr. Bersin worked as an assistant district attorney in the Office of the District Attorney, Bronx County, New York and practiced real estate law privately while also serving as of counsel to the Law Office of David A. Makower.
