Veronica Ebhuoma is a Senior Associate with the firm’s Mass Torts litigation practice involving defective hernia mesh devices.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Ebhuoma was an Associate for many years at a general practice law firm with a focus on Foreclosure Defense, Family law, Probate/Estate Administration, and Landlord/Tenant law.
Ms. Ebhuoma also has extensive government experience. Prior to entering into private practice, she served as Associate Counsel to the New York State Assembly Codes Committee for several years. In this capacity, Ms. Ebhuoma had the privilege of not only reviewing and drafting legislation but also seeing many pieces of legislation that she helped to draft become law in New York State.
Ms. Ebhuoma has also served as a Community Liaison for New York State Assemblyman Edward P. Ra and former New York State Assemblyman Thomas Alfano. Assemblyman Edward P. Ra represents the 19th Assembly District which encompasses the areas of Albertson, Brookville, Carle Place, Franklin Square, Garden City, Glen Head, Mineola, New Hyde Park, West Hempstead, Westbury, East Williston and Williston Park. As Community Liaison, Ms. Ebhuoma played an integral role in the management of constituent affairs.
Ms. Ebhuoma graduated magna cum laude from the State University of New York at Albany and earned a J.D. from Boston University School of Law.
She currently serves as a Board Member of the Theodore Roosevelt American Inn of Court and is a member the New York State Bar Association.
