Mr. Mark Svensson is an Associate at Milberg, where he represents clients in complex data privacy and consumer class action litigation.
Mr. Svensson brings significant litigation and negotiation experience to his work, having represented clients in a wide range of proceedings against both corporate defendants and government bodies. His strategic approach to advocacy has contributed to the resolution of impactful cases with far-reaching implications for consumer rights and data privacy.
Prior to joining Milberg, Mr. Svensson was an Associate at Levi & Korsinsky, LLP, where he practiced in the firm’s Consumer Litigation and Mass Arbitration group, litigating on behalf of consumers nationwide. Before that, he served as an Attorney Advisor for the United States Small Business Administration’s Office of Capital Access, where he helped rebuild and strengthen American businesses impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Mr. Svensson earned his J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law, where he attended as a Distinguished Scholar recipient. During law school, he worked as a Law Clerk for the United States Attorney’s Office, a Legal Intern for the New York State Office of the Attorney General, and a Legal Intern for The United Nations Office of Internal Oversight Services.
An active member of the American Bar Association, Mr. Svensson serves on the Pro Bono and Public Service Forum Committee. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association, where he serves on the President’s Committee on Access to Justice. He is also a member of the Rockland County Bar Association.
Mr. Svensson is admitted to practice law in New York, New Jersey, the District of Columbia, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, and the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.
Outside of his legal practice, Mr. Svensson is deeply engaged in a range of civic and community-focused initiatives. His leadership and public service have earned him recognition and accolades from elected officials at the local, state, and federal levels of government.
