Scott Falgoust has been practicing law for twelve years as a trial lawyer in all aspects of civil litigation, focusing mostly on personal injury, commercial disputes, and family law. In the simplest sense, Mr. Falgoust views his role as being a problem solver. He finds nothing more satisfying than solving an issue for a client who thought they had nowhere to turn. Analyzing the facts of a case and pursuing every avenue of justice for an individual is his top priority.

A Baton Rouge native, Mr. Falgoust attended New Orleans’s Loyola University School of Law in 2007, only two years after Hurricane Katrina. One month prior to his graduation, the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill invaded the Gulf of Mexico, so he began his legal career working on the trial team for the oil spill’s multidistrict litigation (MDL-2179). There, he spent three years working on this case through settlement and, ultimately, trial.

While working on the BP oil spill case, Mr. Falgoust collaborated with Andrew Lemmon. For the last eight years, he has worked as a trial lawyer at Mr. Lemmon’s family firm in New Orleans (Lemmon Law Firm). In that role, Mr. Falgoust has had the opportunity to work with Milberg’s Whitfield-Bryson on a few class cases over the years. Mr. Bryson and Mr. Lemmon are close and have similar professional interests, and thus, Mr. Falgoust’s new role amid the firms emerged.

Outside the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife and their two sons and is well known as a die-hard LSU fan.
