Lee M. Melchionni

Senior Counsel

Mr. Lee M. Melchionni is a Milberg Senior Counsel responsible for overseeing operations abroad. His primary areas of focus include defective products, environmental, and class action litigation.

Mr. Melchionni grew up just outside of Philadelphia, PA. He attended college at Duke University, where he was a four-year letterman with the Men’s Basketball Team and was named Captain of the team his senior year. He spent time playing professional basketball in Italy after graduating.

Upon the conclusion of his basketball career, Mr. Melchionni began working at Wasserman as a Certified NBA and NFL Player Agent, where he represented clients in contract and endorsement negotiations. While working at Wasserman, he attended the Loyola Law School Evening Program, earning his J.D. in 2012.

Mr. Melchionni also spent time as a Private Client Advisor at U.S. Trust, where he worked closely with high-net-worth individuals and families to help them grow, preserve, and transfer wealth effectively. He has run several litigation funding entities that have participated in multiple mass tort litigations, along with various litigations in Europe.

Mr. Melchionni currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia with his wife and two sons.

He is admitted to practice in Washington D.C.
