Markus Kamberger

Senior Counsel

As Senior Counsel at Milberg, Mr. Kamberger‘s legal practice focuses on personal injury, products liability, commercial litigation, and class action litigation.

Since 2015, Mr. Kamberger has served as an Army Judge Advocate General (JAG), creating the crucial ability to analyze intricate issues and offer counsel for high-level government officials. He formerly served as the operational law attorney for Special Operations Command South (SOCSOUTH), advising on legal matters in all operations in Central America, South America, and the Caribbean.

Mr. Kamberger has distinguished recognition by both the United States Army and the Department of Defense, being awarded the Joint Service Commendation Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Joint Service Achievement Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Army Reserve Component Achievement Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, and Global War on Terrorism Service Medal.

In 2008, Mr. Kamberger graduated from Florida International University with a double major in International Relations and Religious Studies and a minor in Geography. He later earned his Juris Doctor from Florida International University College of Law. He continues to serve as a Reservist in the 154th Legal Operations Detachments (Trial Defense Services).

He is licensed to practice law in the state of Florida and speaks fluent Spanish.

Outside the office, Mr. Kamberger enjoys taking historical tours and antiquing throughout the Nation’s oldest cities. He also enjoys folkstyle and freestyle wrestling, coaching children ages 3-17.
