Markus Kamberger

Senior Counsel

As Senior Counsel at Milberg, Markus Kamberger‘s legal practice focuses on personal injury, products liability, commercial litigation, and class action litigation.

Mr. Kamberger holds a double major in International Relations and Religious Studies, as well as a minor in Geography, from Florida International University. He went on to earn his Juris Doctor from the Florida International University College of Law.

To this day, Mr. Kamberger serves as an Army Reservist and has held positions in the 81st Readiness Division, the 154th Legal Operations Detachments (Trial Defense Services), Special Operation Command South (SOCSOUTH), and the 758th Engineering Company, showcasing his commitment to both the legal profession and his country.

Since 2015, Mr. Kamberger has been dedicated to serving as an Army Judge Advocate General (JAG). Through his work, Mr. Kamberger developed an impressive ability to analyze intricate issues and offer crucial counsel for high-level government officials. Prior to his current position, Mr. Kamberger was activated as the operational law attorney for Special Operations Command South (SOCSOUTH), where he provided legal advice for all operations in Central America, South America and the Caribbean. He was recently appointed by the Florida Bar to the Florida Bar’s Military & Veterans Committee.

Mr. Kamberger’s distinguished military career has earned him recognition from both the United States Army and the Department of Defense, including awards such as the Joint Service Commendation Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Joint Service Achievement Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Army Reserve Component Achievement Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon and Global War on Terrorism Service Medal.

Outside the office and courtroom, Mr. Kamberger enjoys taking historical tours and antiquing throughout the nation’s oldest cities. He also enjoys folkstyle and freestyle wrestling, and he coaches children ages 3-17.

He is licensed to practice law in the states of Florida and Texas, and speaks fluent Spanish.
