Of Counsel to Milberg, Mr. Mathew Shooshtary contributes to the firm’s Medical Malpractice team by handling a multitude of claims including complex birth injuries, negligently performed surgeries, emergency room mistakes, and many others.
Mr. Shooshtary strives to provide his clients a transparent and high quality experience and is thrilled to aid his clients in receiving the compensation they deserve.
Mr. Shooshtary joined Milberg after completing his law degree at Hofstra University. While there, Mr. Shooshtary was the Head Articles Editor for the ACTEC Law Journal, responsible for assigning and reviewing the work of 25 other students.
During his first summer internship, Mr. Shooshtary joined Sanders, Phillips, Grossman, LLC., where he worked as a mass torts intern. During the course of this internship, he assisted in drafting multiple briefs, conducted legal research, and collaborated with attorneys to formulate legal strategies. Mr. Shooshtary later went on to become an intern with a group of small collaborative firms working together on Class Action Housing Discrimination cases as well as Class Action Product Liability cases.
He is admitted to practice in New York.
Outside the office, Mr. Shooshtary enjoys working on cars, trying new restaurants, and playing nonsensical videogames.
