Mr. Billy J. Hernandez is an Associate in the Mass Arbitration Department at Milberg.

From the earliest days of his legal career, Mr. Hernandez has been driven by a singular purpose: to put his knowledge and skills to work for those who have been wronged, and to ensure that individuals are never left without a voice.

Before joining Milberg, Mr. Hernandez honed his litigation instincts as a prosecutor in the Ninth Judicial Circuit in Orlando, Florida. There, he carried the weight of representing the people of the State of Florida, standing beside victims of misdemeanor and felony crimes, navigating the courtroom through multiple jury trials, and relentlessly advocating for justice on behalf of those who had suffered harm.

Mr. Hernandez earned his B.A. in Criminology from Florida State University in 2021 and later earned his J.D. from Florida A&M University College of Law in 2025.

He is admitted to practice in Florida.

Outside the office, Mr. Hernandez can be found on a running trail, on the mats training mixed martial arts, lost in a good film, or making music.
