Lucy Holifield is a Senior Associate with Milberg’s Chicago office, where her practice focuses on mass arbitration and class and complex litigation in consumer protection.

Lucy started her legal career as a two-year clerk for the Honorable Judge Brian S. Miller in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Arkansas, where she managed civil and criminal dockets, drafted orders, and administered jury and bench trials. She went on to practice for the next six years as a litigation associate at a leading international defense firm based in Chicago. Lucy then joined a small but sophisticated plaintiff’s boutique where she specialized in legal drafting and managing e-discovery at scale in class and parens patriae actions against large, corporate defendants before joining Milberg. Lucy has represented individual and institutional clients in a variety of industries in state and federal courts across the United States and has experience with every stage of litigation. Across the breadth of her legal experience, Lucy’s passion has always been representing her clients’ interests as her own.

Lucy received her JD, summa cum laude, from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law, where she served as an Articles Editor for the University of Arkansas at Little Rock Law Review. She received her BA, cum laude, with distinction in two majors, Biology and Psychology, from Hendrix College. She is admitted to practice in Illinois, Arkansas, and Wisconsin.
