- Sexual Abuse Litigation
Every survivor’s story matters.
Milberg’s Sexual Abuse Practice Group is dedicated to helping survivors of sexual abuse, assault, and exploitation pursue the justice, closure, and compensation they deserve.
For more than half a century, Milberg has held powerful defendants accountable through complex, high-stakes litigation. We bring that same courtroom tenacity – and a victim-centered approach – to every sexual abuse matter we handle.
The law has acknowledged the realities of delayed disclosure, creating revival periods and expanding statutes of limitation for dated claims. However, because filing windows vary dramatically from state to state, delay may impair key evidence and jeopardize a victim’s legal rights. With offices coast-to-coast and partnerships with advocacy organizations, Milberg litigates in state and federal courts across the country, never losing sight of each jurisdiction’s procedural nuances, statutes of limitations, and evidentiary rules.
Our attorneys help survivors carefully navigate the entire process with grace and dignity – from initial investigation to trial preparation to settlement – assuring every legal avenue available is rigorously pursued.
Above all, Milberg ensures survivors will never be forced to endure a difficult, delicate process alone.
Milberg attorneys have helped secure billions of dollars for injured consumers and whistleblowers. In sexual abuse litigation, we actively negotiate large-sum settlements that fund critical medical care, counseling, and long-term security for our clients.
