Michael Acciavatti is a member of the Antitrust Litigation, and the Consumer Litigation Practice Groups of MTPG. Prior to joining the firm in May 2018, Mr. Acciavatti litigated mass torts and class action cases, representing plaintiffs who were injured by consumer fraud, defective medical devices, and harmful pharmaceuticals, including work on In re Zofran (Ondansetron) Prods. Liab. Litig. and In re Testosterone Replacement Therapy Prods. Liab. Litig.
Mr. Acciavatti is a graduate of Widener University and was conferred a law degree at Drexel University in 2017. While at Drexel, he was a member of the school’s Moot Court Board, and of its Trial Advocacy Team, which won the prestigious 2017 Capitol City Challenge national trial competition in Washington, D.C. He interned in the U.S. District Court (E.D. Pa.) while in law school.
Mr. Acciavatti is a member of the American Bar Association, the American Association for Justice, the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Philadelphia Bar Association. He is admitted to practice in courts in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
